8 IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR TIME

UNDERSTANDING THE PRINCIPLES OF GREATNESS

Greatness begins from the mind, when you desire greatness, begin with a positive mindset and never doubt the possibilities even when situation are not friendly. 
Today I'm going to share with you principles of greatness. The mandate of God for man is to be great that's why He created us in His image and made us ruler over all He created. 
To be great in live, you need to understand some basic things and live by divine principles of purpose. Your desire, vision, drive and purpose will determine your position in life. You cannot expect success if all you do is embrace failure. Great minds see opportunities and not problems, they focus on their strengths and work on their weaknesses. 
A good example of greatness is the story of a young boy who faced a warrior with just a stone and had the mindset of defeating not because of what his technology was but because he understood the principles of purpose.

What are these principles?
The major principle is to allow God rule your destiny. Then,
1. Self identification: you need to know who you really are.
2. Understand your purpose.
3. Identify required skills/knowledge to achieve your purpose.
4. Avoid negative thought 
5. See opportunities and not problems
6. Let your light shine so bright before men.
7. Nourish your vision and make sure you achieve your goal.
8. Obstacles are not to discourage you but to empower you for the greater future.
9. As a man thinks , so he is. So think greatness 
10. Begin to act like a great man even when you are not there yet.

I conclude by saying, we all have something great in us. All we need to do is identify it and seek to understand the purpose for which God created us.

BIOGRAPHY REVIEW - Thomas Edison

It sometimes help to read about people who have succeeded in life. Those who gave all it takes to achieve, invent and develop products, services and policies that have made the world a beautiful place.

Today we will be reviewing a great inventor Thomas Edison whose contributions have made the world a better place to live.
 Before i go go on, i would like to say that the importance of this review is for readers learn from this great man and outline traits identified.

Brief History of Thomas Edison.

Background: Born in Milan, Ohio on Feb 11, 1847. The youngest of seven siblings of his parents. His parents were middle class though they were not wealthy.

Education: He acquired 3 months form education( a school dropout) but love reading which means he did more of personal development.

Economic Journey.
 He started as a street hawker, sold candy, vegetable and newspapers. He worked as a telephone operator for western Union. and sold his investment of $10,000 in quadruplx telegraph to Western Union in order to set up his laboratory and focus on his dreams.

Challenges.
 He developed severe deafness which left him about 90% deaf. He took his deafness in his stride and not saw it a s disability.

Achievements.

• He developed the first audio recording device
• He started production of electric light bulb
• he made electric light affordable for everyone.
• He maintained strong belief in non-violence
• He invented the first motion picture
• He was involved in first electric train to depart from Hoboken in 1930.

Lesson Learned.

He trained his mind to see possibilities and not impossibilities. Failure to him was opportunity to better understand situations he faced. 

What we sometimes see is impossibility. we consider people who failed and as a result get discourage in pursuing our goal.

You need to redefine your mindset to see possibilities and believe that it only requires you, your mindset, you vision and drive that determine possibilities. Not even theories, not even history can define it for for you. If it is possible to you, then it is achievable.

He was able to sacrifice what he was(a $10,000 shareholder) for what what he would become.

Are you willing to let go of that which you have for that which you will become? You must be ready to succeed by investing what you have into what you want to become.

He kept trying and failure became his best way of learning. He never gave up and he never got discouraged.

"When you keep believing, you keep trying. By then it doesn't really matter how long it took to succeed. what matters is the success" Michael Adeleye

"During   all those years of experimentation and research, I never once made a discovery. All my work wad deductive and the results I achieved were those of inventions, pure and simple. I would construct a theory and work on its lines until I found it was untenable. I speak without exaggeration when I say that I have constructed 3000 different theories in connection with the electric light, each one of them reasonable and apparently likely to be true. Yet only in two cases did my experiments prove the truth of my theory". Thomas Edison

Conclusion: We all have millions of reasons why we cant become a winner, at the same time we have few reasons why we can become a winner. The truth is: the million reasons why we cant succeed are mere excuses. so i encourage you today to ignore your weaknesses and focus on your strength, do all you have to do(not evil) to achieve all you have to achieve.

BECOMING THE BEST YOU CAN

      The distance between you and greatness is your mindset. The only drive you need to succeed in life is proper positioning of your mind.

Like I told you in my power of positive thinking series that the greatest creation of God was
 not the earth but the Man He(God) created.   

      God made perfect universe for you. So becoming the best is not about asking God to make you the best rather its about you identifying your unique potentials and manifesting your purpose.

The only limit you limit you have in life is the limit you place on your potentials. A young farmer saw battling with a giant that had outstanding track record in war as opportunities to become great, his brothers and soldiers that protects his country saw problem that no one was will to solve. The young farmer understood the importance of challenges as a step to greatness while others saw a sinking ship.

“If you believe you can, then you can”  it doesn't mean you wont face challenges, it just mean you are determined to fight your way to victory. Remember when life hits you hard, you have to hit back harder. tough times don’t last and those who survive come out stronger and better.

To become the best you can,

  You must believe in yourself,
  You must believe all things are possible and
  You must believe you can

Remember, God made everything perfect for you. He gave you freewill to decide and
 the universe always regulate itself to grant your heart desire.

POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING

The universe is full of blessings.

The universe is full of opportunities.

The universe is full of greatness and glory.

God made the universe for perfect people.

God made you the best and gave you the best.

God wants you to dominate that's why He made you King on earth. So if you are anything less than a king, you missed it.

I have seen people who aspire greatness but all was dream. You want to be a  success but your mind is filled with thought of failing.

As man thinks in his heart so he is. i.e you cannot become great if you see yourself as a low human. Success does not come to those who never work for it. "If you can't see it then you can't have it"

You need to understand that whatever you become in life is what you see in yourself. Your family background has nothing to do with what you become. So success is not about working hard if you don't believe you can become a success.

Great people don't give up on dreams because they know someday they will overcome. So if you want to be great in life you must have a positive mindset, a winning attitude and you don't give up because victory is a must.

Today, i encourage you to think positively, dream possibilities and always believe that everything is possible.

When life knocks you off your feet, you have to fight out of darkness back to light. You need to be able to sacrifice what you are today for what you will become........
